A 140 GHz pulsed EPR/212 MHz NMR spectrometer for DNP studies.
We described a versatile spectrometer designed for the study of dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP) at low temperatures and high fields. The instrument functions both as an NMR spectrometer operating at 212 MHz ((1)H frequency) with DNP capabilities, and as a pulsed-EPR operating at 140 GHz. A coiled TE(011) resonator acts as both an NMR coil and microwave resonator, and a double balanced ((1)H,...
متن کاملA microcomputer ( ffiM PC ) based pulsed NMR spectrometer
This paper describes the design and construction of a personal computer (PC) based pulsed NMR spectrometer to measure spin-lattice relaxation times in solids. The spectrometer works at 10 MHz and produces d. pulses of amplitude 200 Vp_p' The pulse programmer provides various pulse sequences such as 180°-1"-90°and 90°-1"-180°and inter pulse intervals (1")can be computer programmed. The rise and ...
متن کاملDevelopment of Low Frequency Pulsed NQR/NMR Spectrometer
An FPGA based NQR spectrometer has been designed for detection of N nuclei. The digital circuits required for NQR spectrometer i.e Pulse Programmer, DDS, digital receiver have been built inside FPGA. Combining FPGA chip with analog components, NQR spectrometer has been developed. N from NaNO2 is observed using same spectrometer. By adding a permanent magnet of uniform field NMR signal of proton...
متن کاملA Pulsed Spectrometer Designed for Feedback NQR
A pulsed NQR spectrometer specifically designed to facilitate real-time tuning of pulse sequence parameters is described. A modular approach based on the interconnection of several rack-mounted blocks provides easy access to all spectrometer signals and simplifies the task of modifying the spectrometer design. We also present experimental data that demonstrates the ability of the spectrometer t...
متن کاملTuned limiter for receiver amplifier in a fast-recovery pulsed NMR spectrometer.
A simple tuned limiter is described which limits the rf voltage amplitude at the input of the receiver amplifier of a pulsed NMR spectrometer. This device prevents overload of the receiver amplifier during the high-power rf pulse and thereby allows fast recovery of the spectrometer following the pulse. When used with Avantek unit amplifiers at 24 MHz, a recovery time of 2.5 mus is achieved.
